This is what I love about photography – finding the most beautiful light possible to make the person I’m shooting stand out, look beautiful and really shine naturally.  Caitlin is about to graduate in just a few days from my home town and moving on to UT here in Austin!!  We took her pictures at a good friend of mines farm just outside of La Grange.  Thanks Denise – I always LOVE shooting on your land!!  At least this time I didn’t get my car stuck nor did a step on a snake – thank goodness!!

It’s hard to believe that Jessica is a Senior! When I was in high school, close to err 10 years ago, Jessica would dress in her little girl cheerleader uniform and watch us from the bleachers. Her mom was and still is the cheerleader sponsor so Jess was around us often.  Now Jessica is a grown up cheerleader herself, and beautiful young lady with a lot to look forward to!  Good luck at A&M – I know you’ll knock um dead!!

Seriously when did high school seniors get so beautiful, stylish and sweet?  Meet Paige – I wouldn’t have guessed she was a senior. She carried herself with confidence I only wish I had as young woman ready to embark on college.Good luck at Houston, San Antonio or Austin – wherever you decide to go you’ll do great!

Meet Erin – She is the lovely second part of a whole that makes up 2 beautiful daughters belonging to my aunt’s best friend. I photographed Emily last year in Brenham – so we headed back again this year for Erin’s – and Em joined in on a few. If you think these two look like – just wait until you speak to them. I kept having a memory of early morning when my mom and her sisters would be together – when one family went to visit another – it was a memory that was jogged by listening to Erin and Emily – they JUST alike as do my mom and her two sisters. I would lay awake in the other room and listen to the sisterly chatter over coffee. While Emily, Erin and I were walking around the square my mind kept creeping back to that time – so thanks guys for that!

Anyway – back to Erin! Erin is joining her big sister at A&M next year and I’m so happy they get to spend those times together. Erin, thanks for letting me document this special time in your life – Emily thanks for coming along and helping out! I wish y’all all the luck!!
